Gabriella Tóth, student of our BA in International Relations program spent her internship at the US Embassy in Budapest.
We asked her to tell us a few words about her experiences.
"I had a marvelous internship at the US Embassy in Customer Service, the department where the colleagues are always delightful.
My duty was to check in the arrival diplomats by arranging their identity cards, residential cards, insurances, internet providers, and many others.
Several times a week I went to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Tax and Customs Administration Office by chauffeur or taxi to pick-up or submit documents.
I gained great knowledge in the diplomatic atmosphere and I got a view of how many career paths are in diplomacy which is very colorful.
I would suggest the internship opportunity to those who are interested in diplomacy and diplomatic life. You can have a more clear view of the positions in diplomacy!"
