Between 4-8 July 2022, the 8th International Conference of EATSA (Euro-Asia Tourism Studies Association) entitled "Renaissance of Culture in Asia and Europe" was held in Veszprém and Budapest, jointly organized by Kodolányi János University and the University of Pannonia.
Italian, French, Polish, German, Finnish, Slovak, Japanese, Hungarian, Portuguese, Turkish and Serbian participants shared their scientific results at the conference. Special emphasis was placed on the topic of sustainability, Veszprém as European Capital of Culture 2023, and the role of culture and tourism in the cooperation of the countries of the Danube Region. In addition to the scientific lectures, the participants also learned about the developments of the Liget Project in Budapest and visited Lake Balaton.
