Kodolányi János University (KJU) accepts the application of refugee students from Ukraine and provides the opportunity to join the following study programs without paying tuition fee in the Spring semester of 2021/2022 study year:

3. Issuance of a certificate of accommodation (issued by the university only after payment of the accommodation fee!)

KJU can provide accommodation through its contracted partner.
Available accommodation types and fees:
Available immediately: Corvin Apartments, Honvéd Apartments, Ó-street Apartments: 4-6 beded rooms 540 euro / 4 months / person (March-June)
Available from April: Orczy Apartments
If you wish to use any of the accommodations provided by KJU, please transfer the fee corresponding to the selected type of accommodation to the KJU’s bank account as soon as possible. The number of accommodations is limited, and we can only provide accommodation up to the available capacity on the basis of the paid accommodation fee.
Provided you have made your own arrangements and do not wish to stay at any of the accommodations provided by KJU please, select the "no" option under Accommodation on the online application form.
4. If the first three points are met, the university will issue a certificate of student status to you!
5. The residence permit in Hungary must be applied for at the NATIONAL DIRECTORATE-GENERAL FOR ALIENS POLICING INFORMATION FOR PEOPLE FLEEING. This will require proof of student status, proof of accommodation, health insurance valid in EU (or financial resources to cover possible treatment), documents proving adequate financial means of subsistence and documents supporting your legal stay in Ukraine. Proof of legal status and proof of accommodation will be provided by KJU to students who complete and submit the online application form as well as pay the accommodation fee.
