The organizers invite the submission of papers for Current Trends in Terminology 2007, to be organized in Szombathely, Hungary.
Topics: Papers are invited on substantial, original, and unpublished research on all aspects of the followings: - Status planning, Corpus planning, Terminology Policies - Terminology and Translation - Current Trends in National Terminologies

Working languages: The working languages of the conference will be English and German, but unfortunately interpretation cannot be provided. Abstracts are to be submitted in English, papers may be given in English or German.
Abstracts: Participants wishing to submit a paper falling within one of the categories covered by the conference (see the topics) are requested to send an abstract by 10th May 2007. Abstracts shall not exceed 300-400 words, shall contain the title of the paper, name(s)/affiliation(s)/complete addresses of the author(s) and shall indicate the topic in the top right-hand corner. Authors should also submit an electronic copy via e-mail and a hard copy of their abstract. The abstract of the proposed paper should be sent to Ágota Fóris aforis@t-online.hu by 10th May 2007. The Programme Committee will reply in June 2007.
Deadlines: 10th May 2007 - Deadline for abstracts 30th June 2007 - Despatch of notifications of acceptance/rejection 15th September - Deadline for fee payment
Proceedings: Contributions of the conference will be published in the form of proceedings. These proceedings will be published after the conference. Authors will receive a style guide for the preparation of a ready to publish version.
Papers: Individual presentations should be timed for 20 minutes, and will be followed by a 10-minute discussion period.
Conference fee The fee for the two-day conference (Friday 9, and Saturday 10 of November 2007) is ? 150. This fee includes registration, the academic programme, the social programme, a copy of the abstracts, all other documentation, one copy of the proceedings, and all lunches and coffee break refreshments on Friday 9, and Saturday 10 November 2007, but not accommodation. Reduced fee for payment before 15th September is ? 120 for the entire programme (two days). More details will be given in the second circular.
