Immigration pocess

After arrival, every student has to go to the Immigration Office for registration. It is a compulsory process to all foreigners coming from abroad. The International Institute provides support to everyone. Students should have the following items with them:

EU students (including Swiss and Norwegian)

• Copy of passport or ID
  
• 1 ID photo
  
• Hungarian bank account certificate; deposit of at least EUR 400
  
• Certificate issued by KJU International Institute
  
• Registration fee to the office (approx. HUF 2000)
  
• EU insurance card (other insurance is not acceptable)
  

In case of EU students the registration should be done within 3 weeks upon your date of arrival! If you miss the procedure till the given deadline your studies can be cancelled.

Non - EU students

• Copy of passport
  
• 1 ID photo
  
• Certificate from Kodolanyi Janos University of Applied Sciences (issued by the International Institute).

In case of non-EU students within 30 days upon your date of arrival. For studies (more than 90 days) you should have D-type visa in your passport.
