Highlights

The Institute of Distance Education, as a departmental unit, coordinates the development of the e-learning based distance education system as well as the logistics and the administration of e-learning degree programme s. Its full-time employees are responsible for:

• learning material development (handbooks, manuals etc.)
  
• academic programme development
  
• providing the computer technology background (server maintenance, computer system development and maintenance)
  
• teaching methodology training and support for the faculty
  
• regular learning methodology training and support for students
  
• quality assurance based on the EFQM model
  
• research
