The Summer University course of Kodolányi János University of Applied Sciences and Balassi Institute is a complex programme made up of Hungarian as a foreign language (HFL) lessons at all levels, lectures on the most exciting aspects of Hungarian culture (history, music, folk and fine arts, gastronomy, etc.) and lecture related field trips to the most famous and popular spots in Hungary that assist in putting the theory into practice for 20 ECTS credits. In the capital city, Budapest, students can enjoy the atmosphere of an exciting European metropolis, while the field trips to the countryside provide a variety of enriching cultural experiences. Students may apply for scholarship to the Hungarian Scholarship Board.
