Who is it for?
The International Foundation Year provides a route to entry onto selected undergraduate degree programmes. This means that participants will be registered students at Kodolányi János University of Applied Sciences for the whole of their degree programme.
The 2-semester programme offered in English is primarily designed for students who wish to carry on undergraduate studies at KJU and who need to bring their chosen language skills to university level fluency.

The International Foundation Year Programme is optimal for people who wish to study in an academic environment where:
Students who successfully complete the International Foundation Year will automatically earn a place on Tourism and Catering BA or Jazz Instrumental Performer and Jazz Music Singer BA degree programme on condition they attained the pass mark by the end of the IFYP.
