Course List for FALL semester 2012/2013

Dear Students!

Important notes:

 

- Within the list of courses offered on one campus students are free to choose any independent of their field of studies.

- Students are to choose courses offered only by one of the two campuses because they are at a distance of 60 kms, therefore a combination of courses offered on both campuses is not recommended!

Exception: project seminars! Students are free to choose from the offer of both campuses but travel costs will NOT be covered by KJU!

 

- In case of 'AT' dep. code courses, an English Language Test must be taken on 15 May 2012. The test shall be sent to the coordinator of the sending institution who will return a scanned copy of the test. Students must achieve a minimum of 70% in order to be allowed to participate in the courses offered by the English Department.

 

- Project seminar courses will be held in case of minimum 6 applicants!

- Course descriptions will be announced till 10 May 2012!

- * maximum 4 applicants can choose seminars offered by 'AT' department

CENTRE FOR INTERNATIONAL SERVICES - OFFICE HOURS

MONDAY - THURSDAY: 13.00-15.00

FRIDAY: NO OFFICE HOURS!

  • Arrival: from 3 September 2012
  • - the latest arrival: 9 September 2012
  • Students have to inform us about the arrival till 27 August 2012 the latest via e-mail (ledina@kodolanyi.hu)! The moving-in is non-stop possible (incl. weekends as well).
  • Study period: 17 September-14 December 2012 (including the exam period as well)
  • Orientation week: 10-14 September 2012
  • National / Bank Holidays: 22-23 October (Monday,Tuesday), 1-2 November (Thursday, Friday)
  • Departure: from 15 December 2012 (the latest departure is 21 December 2012!)

 

PARTICIPATION ON THE ORIENTATION WEEK IS COMPULSARY FOR ALL ERASMUS INCOMING STUDENTS!

 

The CERTIFICATE OF ATTANDANCE will be issued between the period of

3 September and 21 December 2012!

 

Application form (in 1 hard copy), Application form for accommodation (in 1 hard copy) and Learning Agreement (in 1/3 hard copy - depends on what sending institution requires) are available on our website in the Documents.

 

Application deadline:

Székesfehérvár campus: 10 June 2012

Budapest campus: 25 May 2012

(Faxed and scanned documents are officially not acceptable!!!)

VISA PROCEDURE FOR INCOMING TURKISH STUDENTS:

(in case of choosing our accommodation possibility)

 

1., sending by post the above mentioned documents

2., Letter of Acceptance (LOA) will be issued and posted to the International Office of sending University

3., The first installement of the accommodation fee (350 euro / person) should be transferred till the given deadline and the bank receipt must be sent in e-mail (as a scanned document to Ms. Edina Lukacs ledina@kodolanyi.hu) or by fax to: +36 22 543 391

4., The "Confirmation of Accommodation" (COA) and the "Confirmation of Payment" (COP) documents will be issued and posted to the International Office of the sending University.

5., After handling the original LOA, COA and COP documents student can apply for student visa (NOT earlier!) at the Embassy of Hungary in Istanbul or in Ankara.

 

Please note that COA and COP documents are compulsary for visa application. KJU can provide these documents only if you choose our offered accommodation through our "Application for Accommodation" form! In case if you find your accommodation (specially at Budapest Campus) by your own please contact the Embassy of Hungary.
